1. What this licence is
1.1This Standard Licence sets out what you may do with a product you buy from Bridgemont Technologies LLC ("Bridgemont"). It is the "Licence Terms" referred to in Bridgemont's Terms of Sale (also called the Buyer Terms), and it forms part of your purchase.
1.2Bridgemont sold you the product and grants you this licence. It does so under the rights the product's developer has given Bridgemont. The developer made the product, but it is not a party to your purchase.
1.3This licence is the same for every product Bridgemont sells. The product page shows the details for a particular product, such as how many devices you may use it on. Those details, as shown when you bought, form part of this licence.
2. What you may do
2.1You pay once. In return, Bridgemont gives you a personal, non-exclusive licence to install and use the product for your own personal use, or, if you bought it for a business, for that business's own internal use.
2.2You may install and activate the product on the number of devices shown on the product page when you bought it.
2.3The licence has no end date, unless the product page showed a fixed licence period when you bought. It does not renew, and there is nothing more to pay.
2.4You may keep one backup copy of the product for your own use.
3. What you may not do
3.1You may not sell, rent, lend, share or give away the product or its licence key, or pass this licence to anyone else.
3.2You may not make the product available to other people, for example on a network, a website or a shared account, beyond the number of devices your licence allows.
3.3You may not remove, disable or get around the product's licence checks, activation or copy protection.
3.4You may not reverse engineer, decompile or change the product, except where the law allows it even though this licence says otherwise.
3.5You must use the product lawfully and in line with Bridgemont's Acceptable Use Policy. If the product works with a game or another program, you must also follow that game's or program's own rules.
4. The developer's own licence
4.1Some products also come with the developer's own licence, often called an end user licence agreement or EULA. It applies to you only if it was shown on the product page before you paid.
4.2A developer's licence shown in that way may add terms about how the product is used. It cannot take away any right that this licence, the Terms of Sale, the Refund Policy or the law gives you. If the two conflict, this licence applies.
4.3Terms that appear for the first time when you install or open the product do not reduce your rights under this licence, the Terms of Sale or the Refund Policy.
5. When the licence ends
5.1Your licence continues even if the developer stops trading or stops working with Bridgemont, and closing any account you hold with Bridgemont does not end it.
5.2Only Bridgemont can end your licence, and only if: you are refunded for the product; the payment is reversed, for example by a chargeback; the product was bought by fraud, or with a card used without its owner's permission; or you seriously break this licence. The developer cannot end or disable your licence on its own.
5.3When your licence ends, you must stop using the product and delete it.
6. Support and refunds
6.1Bridgemont sold you the product, so Bridgemont handles your support and refunds. Write to [email protected]. You never need to contact the developer about your purchase.
6.2Your rights if the product is faulty or not as described are set out in the Terms of Sale and the Refund Policy. This licence does not reduce them.
7. Who owns the product
7.1You get a licence to use the product, not ownership of it. The developer, or the people it licenses from, keep all rights in the product that this licence does not give you. Bridgemont keeps all rights in its own name and branding.
8. Changes and the law that applies
8.1Your purchase is covered by the version of this licence in force when you bought. Bridgemont may update this document for future purchases. An update does not reduce the rights you already have.
8.2The Terms of Sale say which law applies to your purchase and where disputes are heard. If you are a consumer, the mandatory consumer laws of the place where you live still protect you.
